Quantum Sky is seeking a Growth Analytics manager to run the analytical and operational backbone of our growth organization: BD operations, new-business forecasting, and the growth side of M&A due diligence. The role reports to the Vice President of Growth Strategy & Analytics and acts as the VP's operational deputy. The manager turns three portfolios into repeatable, measurable processes. That frees the VP to focus on strategy, executive stakeholders, and deal-level decisions, and gives leadership a forecast and pipeline view it can trust without manual cleanup.
Responsibilities:
Pipeline and forecast integrity (Revenue Operations)
- Own the new-business forecast process end to end, including weekly and monthly roll-ups, reconciliation of probability-weighted and bottoms-up views, and forecast-versus-actual variance analysis.
- Enforce CRM data discipline: stage definitions, required fields, close-date accuracy, and regular sweeps of stale opportunities.
- Build and maintain pipeline coverage, conversion, win-rate, and sales-cycle metrics by market segment and contract vehicle.
- Produce executive dashboards within CRM and monthly and quarterly growth reporting out of CRM.
- Coordinate the hand-off between the growth forecast and the Finance forecast so leadership works from one set of numbers.
Business development operations
- Manage data calls, FOIA request tracking, and RFI development workflow.
- Administer BD tools and subscriptions (CRM, market intelligence, contract and bid databases), including renewals and ROI reviews.
M&A growth diligence
- Build the commercial side of target assessments: pipeline quality, backlog and recompete exposure, win-rate history, customer concentration, and contract vehicle position.
- Develop market sizing and revenue synergy and cross-sell models.
- Create reusable diligence templates and data request checklists so each deal starts from a working baseline.
- Support post-close integration of pipeline, CRM, and reporting data.
Team leadership and process ownership
- Grow into leading analysts and coordinators: set priorities, coach, and review the quality of their work, with mentorship from the VP.
- Document processes and maintain a continuous improvement backlog.
- Serve as the primary liaison to Finance, Capture and Proposals, and business unit leaders for growth data and reporting.
Core competencies
- Operational rigor: builds systems and standards that last, rather than reacting to one-off requests.
- Executive translation: turns complex data into a clear answer and a recommended action.
- Judgment under ambiguity: delivers sound M&A analysis on tight timelines with incomplete data.
- Influence without authority: earns adoption of process from BD, capture, and business unit leaders who do not report to this role.
- Analytical depth: comfortable moving between pipeline data, financial models, and market research.
- People leadership: shows the drive to learn how to set expectations, develop talent, and build a team that can scale.
Success in the first 12 months
- Forecast accuracy improves, and leadership trusts the numbers without a manual cleanup cycle.
- CRM stage definitions and required fields are enforced, with a recurring stale-opportunity review in place.
- Gate Reviews run on a predictable cadence, with decisions and follow-up actions tracked to closure.
- Commercial diligence turnaround shrinks because templates, data sources, and request checklists are ready before a deal starts.
- Executive dashboards and monthly reporting run on a repeatable schedule with minimal manual effort.
- The manager makes the move into people leadership: sets expectations, runs regular one-on-ones, and is ready to lead a team by the end of year one.
- The VP spends measurably less time on spreadsheet and CRM cleanup and more on strategy, deals, and executive engagement.
